Europe, are you ready for this?
It’s our first international Blues Raid, 14 dates across Switzerland, Germany, the UK, Slovakia and Austria.
For the European gigs, I’ll be joined by a sensational group of Raiders, the cream of the European blues rock scene: Greg Black on guitar, Slavica Tucakovic on bass, and Lorenzo Liberale on drums.
Meanwhile, for the Boogaloo show at Church Crookham, the regular band of Matt and Derek will be joined by guests Si Potts on drums, and the mighty Big Gilson on guitar.
If you like your blues hard and heavy, these guys can deliver. And I’ll be cranking up my Big Rivers LOUD (one for the harp people out there…)*.
Come and join us at a session near you, and share the hell out of this. The world needs more blues, and we’re about to deliver a BIG spoonful.

*Stuart Maxwell plays Hohner Big River harmonicas. Not because they pay him to – although that would be nice – but because he loves them. You can work them to death and they’re cheaper than Marine Bands. Of course, a Marine Band is a beautiful thing, but they need to be cherished. If you need something to thrash on a gig, a Big River’s your perfect hard-hitting harp.
