October 2nd
Stuart Maxwell’s Blues Raiders are all set to rock Crookham Hall at Church Crookham in Hampshire, home to the excellent Boogaloo Promotions gig series.
Monica Madgwick and her team are top UK promoters, and these gigs sell out fast. And for this session, we’ll be welcoming the Brazilian blues rock legend Big Gilson to sit in on some flipped-out jams with us. He’s an old friend, it’ll be great to set him loose on our shuffling, funky set.

October 3rd
The Blues Raiders are joined by Miss Sandy Bennett’s Rebel Jazz Dance for The Hoochie Coochie Shuffle at the Community Centre @ Studley Green, near High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire.
We have a very special guest in the shape of The Shufflepack’s sax and flute man Tom Domagala. It’s a kind of Shuffleraid Bluespack, with classic jazz, blues and swing grooves all the way. Sandy’s dancers will present a floor show featuring her brilliant team of rebel dancers – they jazz it their own way – and there’ll be a workshop showing you some basic steps too. Ain’t no need to be a wallflower for this one!
